Take our handmade pledge!

Yes, we realize there's another Handmade Pledge site. However, that one is focused on the holiday season, and we believe the pledge to buy handmade can extend much further than that. Please consider taking this pledge and making handmade a life-changing choice :)

I pledge to consider handmade alternatives for all of my purchases, whether they are for everyday items or gifts, for myself, my family or my friends.

Being a mother of 4 working at home has given me the opporunity to stay home with my children. Even though this last year I suffered from a Brain AVM.I was blessed & survived with miniumal health issues. I know being a crafter all around I cherish the work of other crafters. I personally put a piece of me in my work. Weither it be making candles, scrapbooking or crocheting. I come from a long line of crafters and homemakers. I cherish the fact that my children will carry on the tradtions of my family through crafting.

I love handmade! Not only am I an indie artist myself, but also a consumer of handmade goods. Any company can mass produce a product, but when it's made by the hands of one individual you know there has been love put into it. People create because they love it and I love them for that!
